Replacement Glass

If your window frames are in good condition, but the glass is blown, External Home Improvements (Fylde & Wyre) can install replacement sealed double glazing units, whilst retaining your existing frames.

We can even install double glazing into traditional hardwood wooden frames if you still have them.

Steamed / Cloudy Windows

Do your windows attract condensation or are they cloudy or steamy? It's likely you have broken or failed sealed units. In many cases however, your frames, particularly uPVC ones might still be in a good condition.

If so, there's no need to replace them. We can just replace the glazing, thus saving you a lot of money!

Energy Saving Glass

We fit the latest, most energy efficient rated glass and recommend Planitherm for the following reasons.

Wooden Frames

In fact, unlike many other double glazing companies, we will attempt to preserve, adapt and use existing wooden frames where feasible.

If you have existing mahogany or other hard wood frames, we can usually fit double glazed units into them.

Even where the existing frames are single glazed, we can route them to accommodate a double glazed sealed unit.
